​​If your counterpart changes anything in the contract after you have signed it, your signature will be automatically removed, so that you can review the changes and approve them by signing the contract again.

Even if it can be tedious to have to sign the contract again, it is a very important safety measure, so that the contract cannot be changed after it has been signed. This function protects you from manipulation in the contract, something that paper contracts are vulnerable to.

To see what changes have been made to the contract, you can log in to your Swiftcourt profile. You get an email notification with a link to the contract every time your signature is removed. Open your contract and go to “track changes”. This convenient function lets you track information about the changes in the contract:
